Stark Professional Line boot gas springs are known for a long service life. They are produced by the German company Stark Automotive Germany GmbH, which is a large manufacturer of car parts. All its products belong to the premium pricing segment. Today, the company’s offices are located in 5 countries, its staff consists of 1 200 employees and it has more than 3 000 000 customers.

Types

By design and a type of working fluid these parts are divided into:

Pneumatic. It's a cylinder consisting of a rod and a piston.The inner space of the cylinder is filled with compressed gas and divided into two cavities by the piston. The gas can flow from chamber to chamber through specially designed holes or by-pass valves.

The principle of dynamic damping is implemented in the pneumatic springs. Due to gas flowing from chamber to chamber and constant equalization of their pressure, speed of rod pushing reduces, which provides smooth slowing down in the end of part movement. The doors can be fixed in any positions using such gas springs.

Hydropneumatic. These parts have an oil chamber at the cylinder bottom, sinking into which, the rod sharply slows down. Such springs operate on the principle of hydraulic damping. Rod down instalment is the only possible one as there's a cavity filled with fluid. At low temperatures they work better compared to the gas springs.
