VW 501 01 motor oils are suitable for use in cars of Volkswagen Group concern, namely Audi, Škoda, Seat and Volkswagen, produced before 1999. Most often, their viscosity is 10W-40 and 15W-40. They are suitable for petrol and diesel power units without a turbocharger. They are recommended for use in the cars with indirect fuel injection. They meet requirements of ACEA for A2 and B2 categories.

Products with this specification are suitable for engines which operate in conditions of moderate loads, with lubricant change intervals of about 15,000 km. They are usually made using the mineral or semi-synthetic base. They have well-balanced characteristics both at low and at high temperatures.

Note:

1. It is only allowed to use the lubricants recommended by the car manufacturer.
2. Replacement should be performed at a service station.

Advantages:

As a rule, high-temperature viscosity of VW 501 01 motor oils is 2.9 – 3.7 mPa⋅s and more. At heating they retain the density sufficient for creating a strong oil film. It guarantees effective protection even of worn-out engines and provides an optimal compression in the cylinders.
