The production of small city Peugeot 107 vehicles was carried out in Kolin, the Czech Republic between 2005 and 2014. Thanks to the low fuel consumption (4.6 l per 100 km) and low carbon dioxide emissions (109 g/km), the model was a leader in Auto-Umweltliste eco-ratings of the Verkehrsclub Deutschland auto club in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo are the vehicles based on the same platform.

The history of the Peugeot 107 vehicles

Overall, there was one generation and two facelifted versions of the model. The premiere took place at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. This four-seater car, presented as three- and five-door hatchbacks, was the smallest one in the history of the company. It was 3430 mm long, 1630 mm wide and 1470 mm high. The distinctive feature of the 107 was a frameless all-glass rear door.

In 2008, the model underwent a facelift. The front bumper became larger, with elegant air vents on its sides. The enlarged radiator grille was trimmed with a wide chrome bar, and the number plate was placed on the lower part of the bumper.

Features of the Peugeot 107 (generation I, facelift II)

In 2012, at the European Motor Show in Brussels, the manufacturer presented the second facelift of the model of the first generation. The front part of three- and five-door 107 hatchbacks started to look more elegant. This effect was achieved thanks to the distinctive bumper with its grille, more rounded lines of the bonnet, and dark frames around the extended headlights. Fog lights and LED daytime running lights were offered as option. New shades were added to the car body colours palette.

The design of the interior of the model was elaborated taking into account all the requirements of aesthetics and ergonomics. Comfortable seats were fitted with headrests, the steering wheel was trimmed with leather (extended trim levels) and had power steering as an extra option.

The base trim level of the Peugeot 107 hatchback included ABS, driver’s and passenger's airbags, emergency braking assist system. Child seat anchorages were available for an additional charge.
