Control arm Longitudinal rear and front

What are suspension trailing arms?

Suspension trailing arms are used mainly on the rear axle of the car. They are used in vehicles with independent suspension, often of a multi-link type. They connect the rear knuckle with the car body. Their task is to keep the shock struts in the same position during acceleration and deceleration when they are acted upon by forces directed along the axis of movement of the car. When used in the rear suspension, these components provide a self-steering effect. They are made of steel or light alloys, and can be straight or curved. These parts usually have two attachment points. When selecting these parts, make sure they match your car’s technical specifications, otherwise it will be impossible to install them.
