Daewoo Matiz city cars were produced since 1998 till 2015. In Europe the model was available till 2004. At different periods of time assembling of cars was performed in South Korea, Poland, Romania, Uzbekistan, Iran, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Taiwan. History of Daewoo Matiz
The first generation and its one restyling were sold on the European market. The car with M100 index was presented on International Geneva Motor Show in 1998. Matiz was produced in body version of a 5-door hatchback and had the following dimensions: length – 3495 mm, width – 1495 mm, height – 1485 mm. The cars were equipped with 52 hp or 64 hp petrol engines. The model was the best-selling company car in Europe and India till 2002.
Since 2004 the car was sold in Europe and some other Asian countries under Chevrolet brand, in South America – Chevrolet and Pontiac. In Poland the model was produced under FSO brand.
Features of Daewoo Matiz M150 cars
In 2000 Daewoo Matiz hatchback was restyled and got M150 index. Protective covers on its front and rear bumpers were significantly larger, turn indicators got round shape, and black moldings were placed on side body parts. Moreover, the model lost roof railings, and the shape of rear lights was changed, as well as position of lamps within the unit.
The car cabin was rather comfortable. Central console had 2 cup holders. The car had power windows. The rear seats of Matiz hatchback could be folded to increase luggage compartment capacity. The capacity reached 480 liters. The cars were equipped with the acoustic system with CD support.
